The South-West Brahmans make  it nine wins in a row
28/08/2008 | The Brahmans out played the competition leaders last Saturday at Binalong, when they beat the Tuggeranong Bushrangers 28-12 in a no holds barred game of rugby league. The home crowd pitched in for the entire game which saw the Brahmans scoring six tries to two in a very convincing win.
Murrumburrah’s part in 'Big Dish' green power
28/08/2008 | Heat from the sun will soon be providing electricity for homes in rural and regional Australia, 24 hours a day, if an experimental solar thermal generator designed by scientists and engineers at the Australian National University proves successful. Murrumburrah is part of the project.
Harden Horse Trials 2008
7/08/2008 | The Harden Horse Trials held their Annual competition last weekend. The weather ended up better than expected after an icy start. The showground looked a picture, cross country jumps were re-vamped and many thistles and weeds were sprayed and mowed thanks to many hours of hard work by the Harden Horse Trials Committee and volunteers.

7/08/2008 | Harden and Murrumburrah are set to become cleaner and more environmentally friendly thanks to a new kerbside recycling service. The fortnightly household recycling service, which begins on August 14, aims to help from the environmental perspective by not creating unnecessary waste, and also keep costs down for the community.

Hawks meet Roosters players

Although the weather and the score for some were not ideal, moods very quickly changed when Michael Quinn’s organisation came off and the 20 junior league players and some rather excited adults got the chance to visit the Roosters
Tigers bite off more than they can chew
17/07/2008 | The South-West Brahmans extended their winning streak to four in a row last Saturday when they out played the Tigers in every department of the game. The Brahmans raced in nine tries to three when they defeated arch rivals, The Bungendore Tigers 48 points to 14 at Binalong on Saturday.

Harden Polocrosse Tournament 2008
10/07/2008 | Last weekend, Harden held their Annual Polocrosse tournament at the Harden racecourse. With a lot of work from club members and volunteers the carnival ran very smoothly. Harden had three teams playing on the weekend but none were successful in winning.
